Blues musician AR photo display. Supported by city of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Nottoden Blues Festival, OARC and Immersal. Very well received, including an invite to properly install the exhibition at a blues festival in Denmark.(Could not seize the opportunity: no sponsorship/funds.) Norway, August 2023.
One of the many people we invited to our “pirate” AR exhibition. Though we were approved by the Festival, we had no official billing. So we sat in the beer tent and, after we developed a level of trust, walked people over to one of the three AR exhibition areas. The others were backstage and in the library, where panel discussions were held.
Fredrikstad, Norway August 2023. There is a plan (now dormant) to make the historic tourist town of Fredrikstad a showcase for location-based AR. A photo exhibition/ visual artwork exhibition by Stephen Black was planned for 2024, but was not realized. Support by Immersal, the town of Fredrikstad and the OARC. Jan-Erik, in the blue jacket, is the managing director of the Open Augmented Reality Cloud.
Portraits taken by Stephen Black as part of his participation at VRTO in 2023. The portraits were also displayed at the Toledo Museum of Art.
